To get to Château Clénord by car :
- From Chambord :
Drive straight ahead from "route Charles X" ( D 33) to Huisseau-sur-Cosson (at 5 km 3 mi. ). - You will pass through the village of "La Chaussée le Conte" between Chambord and Huisseau - Entering the village of Huisseau-sur-Cosson (map n° 2), stay on the main road. 150 meters past the church, turn left direction " Mont-près-Chambord". Drive straight ahead 500 meters on the main road. There, the road forks : take the road on your right which is in fact the main road. Go straight ahead for 3 km. Getting in Mont-près-Chambord (map n° 3), take right at the crossroads toward Blois. Drive 700 m (750 yards) in the village, take left once level with church's square toward Clénord. Drive 5 km ( 3.1 miles ) straight ahead staying on the main road. Entrance to the Manor on the right, 200 m (220 yards) before reaching road D765.
- From Blois :
Take the old bridge (Pont Jacques Gabriel), then avenue "Wilson" in the continuation, going south-east for 1.5 km ( 1 miles ). At the 1st traffic circle, go through away taking the road toward “Saint Gervais la Foret”. Drive 3.5 km (2 miles) straight ahead. At 2nd traffic circle, take road toward “Cheverny-Romorantin". Drive on this road straight ahead 5 km (3.1 miles) through the forest. Entering the small village of Clénord, turn left just before the Beuvron bridge. Go 200 meters (220 yards), and the entrance to Manor of Clénord will be on the left.
- From Paris :
From Paris take highway A10. “Blois” exit. At 1st traffic circle, go toward “Blois centre”. Drive 700 meters (750 yards). At 2nd traffic circle, take 4-lane road toward “Vierzon-Chateauroux”. Drive to this direction on this road straight ahead 6 km ( 3.8 miles ); ( You will cross the Loire river at the 1st km). At 3rd traffic circle, take road toward “Cheverny-Romorantin". Drive on this road straight ahead 5 km (3.1 miles) through the forest. Entering the small village of Clénord, turn left just before the Beuvron bridge. Go 200 meters (220 yards), and the entrance to Manor of Clénord will be on the left.
- From Cheverny :
Go to Cour-Cheverny. In Cour-Cheverny, reach the D 765. Turn left toward Clénord and Blois. Drive straight ahead 3.5 km. In the village of Clénord, turn right after the Beuvron bridge. Go 200 m (220 yards), and the entrance to Manor of Clénord will be on the left.
